Mary Anne Ferrell


Mary Anne Ferrell, President and Owner of Licensing Solutions, is widely recognized as a restaurant industry expert in licensing. Mary Anne has over 26 years of experience in liquor license acquisitions, sales, purchases and renewals. She also possesses expertise concerning operating license acquisitions, alcohol awareness training, and numerous licensing issues that can be encountered during the start of a new business or during the operation of an existing company. Mary Anne enjoys her free time socializing, exploring her neighborhood, listening to good music, and trying creative new drinks from the area's top bartenders.

Susan VanderJagt

Vice President

Susan originally joined the LSI team in 2009 and currently supports the day to day operations of the business as well as assisting with new restaurant openings and licensing. Susan began her career in the legal field over 20 years ago working as a legal assistant in a small law office in Winter Park, Florida. She advanced to the position of Real Estate Paralegal at Darden Restaurants where she worked for over 8 years. Susan has a strong background in legal research and is focused on delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Regina Barbour

Director of Licensing and Client Relations

Regina is the most recent addition to the LSI Management Team, joining us in April 2019. She comes to us with almost 20 years of experience with Wyndham Destinations, Inc. where she most recently held the position of Senior Director, Legal. Regina’s proven ability to solve problems and deliver results will be invaluable to the team here and to our clients. Regina will be managing the openings and renewals teams at LSI. Regina brings with her a strong legal and compliance background which will no doubt contribute to her success here at LSI.

Katrina King

Senior Licensing Project Manager

Katrina joined the LSI team in January of 2013. Her sparkling sense of humor enhances her ability to work under pressure. Katrina's previous work experience with the Florida DBPR, AB&T Licensing Division has proven beneficial for clients branding their entities in Florida. Katrina has completed licensing for various restaurant concepts, assisted living facilities, hotels and salon & spas in various cities and counties throughout the State of Florida. Prior to joining the Licensing industry, Katrina was employed with Osceola County government for more than 20 years in various positions, including 19 years with the Clerk of Court’s Office and 4 years with the Tax Collector’s office.

John Conner

Licensing Compliance and Data Management Specialist

John has been working with LSI for almost 4 months as a contract employee, but in April of 2019, he became a full- time permanent employee. John has extensive experience working with legal data management and has been able to quickly learn and excel in the use of LSI’s software systems. John’s service-based attitude, ability to learn systems, processes and procedures and adapt quickly to the client’s needs make him a key employee. He will also lead the team with the integration of new software management systems.

Melissa Wilt

Licensing Compliance Specialist

Melissa originally joined LSI in 2017 after moving to the area from New Orleans (so make sure you pronounce it correctly if you are speaking to her). Melissa has a strong background in legal and an incredible dedication to servicing the client’s needs. Melissa works with our renewals clients and also assists with new openings.

Cailey Stratton

Licensing Compliance Specialist

Cailey returned to Florida in 2019 and joined LSI as a temporary employee in May. Cailey has quickly adapted to the licensing business and in June, Cailey joined the LSI team as a permanent full-time employee, working as a Licensing Compliance Specialist assisting with the integration and ongoing renewal maintenance of a large national client. Cailey has spent many years polishing her exceptional customer service skills and brings with her a can-do attitude and drive.

Alexis Izquierdo

Executive Assistant and License Administrator

Alexis joined LSI this year as an Executive Assistant, working closely with Mary Anne, Susan and Regina and supporting the licensing team. Alexis is new to the licensing field but has a diverse and exciting background that includes working as a production assistant and then in talent management in New York City and supporting the Characters at Walt Disney World. We are very excited that Alexis decided to join our team and confident in her ability to continue to grow in this field.

Samantha Covell

Accounting Specialist

Samantha originally joined LSI in 2016 as a Renewals Specialist and was an integral part of the implementation process for several renewal clients. In 2018, Samantha returned to LSI in the role of Accounting Specialist. Although her role has changed, Samantha continues to be involved in the renewal of licenses and is a vital resource to our renewals team.
